A Raleigh native who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree of Music from Oral Roberts University. 

Has been performing professionally since high school. 

Ramon has held Adjunct Trumpet Professorships at North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University and Campbell University. 

Performed with music legends such as Clark Terry, Byron Stripling, Fred Wesley, Stanley Turrentine, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the O’Jays, Frankie Valli  and Ed Shaughnessy.

His international travels include Canada, Indonesia, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Bahamas, and Russia.  

While Ramon is a current Member of the North Carolina Jazz Repertory Orchestra he is also the lead and solo trumpeter for the Raleigh Jazz Orchestra and the North Carolina Brass. 

He is a local radio producer, song writer, and composer. 

Has written, produced and published two solo albums.

Has composed a five (5) movement symphony with plans to premier it in North Carolina by year 2009.
